Solna is a distinctive town in the Greater Stockholm conurbation. In area, it is one of Sweden’s smallest municipalities. It's more than 56,000 inhabitants live in a space of only 22 sq. kilometres.

Four castles lie within the town’s boundaries Råsunda Stadium, Sweden’s national ground for football. Number of inhabitants: around 56,000 57% of the population is between the ages of 25 and 64. Foreign nationals account for 11.2% of the population. Number of registered companies: 7952.
