The world’s spinning around
And the summer comes round.
I’m the Teddy Bear
And I’m looking for a little hare.
My forest is so big,
And the little rabbit may play me a trick.
So, I’ll go in the village nearby
To find products for my dinner
But I’ll have to hie.
Oh, here is the farm
Of the good old uncle Spens
And his yard is full of hens.
I’ll take one of them,
Then I’ll put it in my frying pan.
I’ll add some pepper, salt and potatoes,
After that I’ll make my salad with tomatoes.
I’ll clean my table
And the dinner will be the same
As this in each fairy fable.
For my Bulgarian Shopska Salad
I’ll need a cucumber and cheese,
And after preparing it, I’ll sit at the table
And take from a friend chicken just a piece.
I’ll turn on the radio and listen to
Bulgarian traditional music as well,
And feel the chicken’s delicious smell.
I’ll take from my vault a glass of wine
And everything will be just fine!
The world’s spinning around and my stomach
Is full like one of a rich count!
