Between March the 6th and 11th. 2002, fifteen partecipants by ten different countries of Europe were in Varna - a lovely city on the Black Sea - to discuss about Project.

Aladzha Monastery is the most famous among the numerous rock monasteries that existed on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast in the 13 – 14 centuries. These unique cult monuments are spread out over a vast territory, including the Balkans and the Near East.

The beginning of the Varna Archaeological Museum was laid by, a group of public men and teachers from the Varna High School for Boys whose love for the historic past made them gather a small collection of archaeological monuments.
