1 - Traditions
The « dénoisillage » or « énoisage » has always been a popular tradition.
During the walnut harvest season in the evenings, all the family used to
gather by the fire to break the shells with special wooden mallets and round
wooden boards then to extract the fruit without ever smashing one to powder.
The « dénoisillage » was a source of income. |
