He learned to paint from famous painters. He took degree in archeology on the Zagreb University and started working in the Križevci museum. He started painting in 1967 and becomes one of the organizers of cultural events in Križevci.
He received numerous awards. In 1990 he got the «Golden Rooster» - the charter for the most successful painter on the exhibition of still natures in Đurđevac.
